The Award of the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship of 10,000 PLN for a film production that contributes to a better understanding of ethnicities across borders in an extraordinary way.
 
The Latücht-Award of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will be awarded to an outstanding film, video or multimedia project which makes best use of the creative possibilites of the medium. It comes with a cash prize of 5,000 €.
 
The City of Neubrandenburg Award will be awarded to a courageous and artistically ambitious film that explores or transcends the boundaries of its genre. It comes with a cash prize of 2,000 €.
 
The Award of the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation for the best competition movie. It comes with a cash prize of 1,000 €.
 
The “Findling,” bestowed by the Landesverband Filmkommunikation e.V. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, is a prestigious award for a film that stimulates observation and reflection in an exceptional manner. The filmmaker is given the opportunity to present the prize-winning film during a tour of film clubs and cultural cinemas in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The tour is sponsored by the Regional Film Promotion Fund of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
 
The Award of the Student Jury sponsored by the Univeristy of Szczecin will be presented to the most courageous attempt to transcend the borders of artistic documentary. It comes with a cash prize of 2,000 PLN.
 
The Award of the Student Union Greifswald will be presented by students of the Univeristy of Applied Sciences in Neubrandenburg as well as the Univeristy of Greifswald and comes with a cash prize of 1,000 €.
 
The Polish Audience Award of the Polish Television (TVP), will be awarded by the audience of the European Competition in Szczecin. It comes with a cash prize of 1,000 €.
 
The Audience Award of Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) - the festival audience of Neubrandenburg chooses their favourite competition film. It comes with a cash prize of 1,000 €.
 
The Award sponsored by the OFFicyna Association and presented to the most outstanding film in the West Pomerania Shorts review.
 
The Golden Moby Award is sponsored by the OFFicyna Association and presented to the most outstanding film of the telefonART review.
