Lina Lužytė

About the artist

Lina Lužytė was born in 1985 in Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2011, she graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with MA in Film Directing. She has numerous writing and directing credits in advertising and film. Lina has recently become a lecturer at different educational projects organized by “Skalvija” Cinema Center. In 2009 she wrote and directed a short film “It Would Be Splendid, Yet...,” which has been selected for more than 15 international festivals and has won several awards. Lina is an active participant in a lot of workshops and courses for film professionals, such as “Torino Film Lab” (I), “Ex-Oriente Film” (CZ), etc. Currently, Lina is developing her first feature film “Do You Love Me?”
