The 22nd EFFD dokumentART programme committee received about four hundred applications for the European Competition, a core element of the festival. Submissions have arrived from fifty countries, including non-European ones. 48 titles from twenty one countries have been selected, including eighteen from Europe (some movies were co-produced beyond the Old Continent). This year the committee is: Birgit Acar, Jörg Foth, Caroline Walke (German Director of the Festival), Bartosz Wójcik (Polish Director fo the Festival), and Joanna Wójcik.
